Barbara Gottesman is Founder and President of The Woodmont Group. She has over 25 years of research, marketing and public relations experience. Ms. Gottesman has worked in environments ranging from Princeton’s Firestone Library to Find/SVP, a business advisory research firm and is well-versed in primary and secondary research methods. She has worked with hundreds of clients while managing a group of 12 research consultants. Over the years she has covered categories such as consumer products, publishing/media, consulting, education, banking/finance, healthcare, dotcoms, and advertising.
Recent projects include research for new business or brands and mergers and acquisitions, interviewing for market intelligence and trends, research for authors, and writing content for websites. Ms. Gottesman has a B.A. from Rutgers College and an M.L.S. from Rutgers Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. She is married and has two children, a seventeen year old daughter and a 10 year old son. She has served on her local Board of Education for nine years and is currently the president.
